But, what he knows of is the following; Immortal, fast healing (a gunshot heals after half a day, for example), extraordinary agility, strength, and speed. He can be seen by humans. On the other hand, angles can't handle tobacco, and they're forbidden from eating meat. If they want to, they can disintegrate things or make them break just by touching them, but Yousuke needs to practice a lot on that one before he knows how to do it. He's a good marksman but not excellent. He's also a fairly good hand-to-hand combatant. Zerachiel has not denied that angels can have wings (they have halos, but they're hidden a lot of the time) so he might actually have wings as well.

history
Yousuke had an early start on the dark path, and joined the yakuza. At the age of 21, he was already a hitman of the gang he was in, and took care of many jobs he considered boring. Then one day, a hit went wrong, and he, after managing to barely escape alive, was shot in the forehead without any resistance.
He woke up in a place he was unfamiliar with, surrounded by strnagers. He was informed that he was dead, and that he had become an angel because God decided he was to be one. Although he's on probation, so that might change. Also, Yousuke can't remember how he died.
He was sent to the living world to train in being an angel, accompanied by the archangel Zerachiel. There, Yousuke was supposed to do good deeds, and show that he's capable of being an angel that helps people. If not, he'll be sent to Hell as a fallen angel.
It doesn't go that well for Yousuke though, because he uses his yakuza smile on little kids etc, so they run away from him in tears. Zerachiel demonstrates how to help people, but he just uses his pretty face to make people smile, which pisses Yousuke off.
Yousuke ditches, under the condition of a 5 minute break, and he goes to find cigarettes. When he realizes he's close to his house, he goes there to see if he can remember how he died, which he does. He was shot by an elder member of the gang he's in.
That elder member saw Yousuke and wondered why the hell he was running about, since he was supposed to be dead, and followed Yousuke. When Zerachiel caught up to Yousuke and Yousuke showed him a plant that he had kept watering, Yousuke is shot (again) by his elder. But that was because he got in-between Zerachiel and the bullet, so he saved Zerachiel.
However, turns out, to Yousuke's and his elder's surprise, that angels can't die, so Yousuke just gets up again, with his flaky halo popped out. Zerachiel decides that they are to bestow heavenly punishment (of love) upon the guy who shot Yousuke, since he's a band man who kills people, and they beat him up.
After that, Yousuke takes a smoke, but collapses because angels can't smoke. He's patched up, and finally manages to be of some help by getting a ball from a tree for some children. For the first time in his life, Yousuke is told "thanks" for something. Zerachiel decides to let him be a normal angel for a while longer while he evaluates him.

Yousuke is, to put it simply, a moron. No but really, he's not the brightest crayon ni the box. Really, there are all kinds of phrases like that which suits him. Not that he considers being stupid a bad thing, but it's annoying being called it as if it's an insult. He has a problem with long or foreign words, and the longer or the more complicated they are, the more likely he is to not give a shit when it comes to memorizing them. Like how the archangel Zerachiel became Zara-san, because it's just too troublesome to remember or pronounce it all. So in that sense, it makes him a rude person, since he'll ignore calling people by their proper names even if he's supposed to show respect. He doesn't mean anything bad by that, but he doesn't realize how rude he can be, either. He's even rude to God, which the archangel doesn't exactly appreciate. Because instead of calling him God, Yousuke calls him "some fucking deity".
Third Person Sample: Everything is weird, and he doesn't know what the hell is going on. To be honest, that's been the way it seemed like it was supposed to be, recently.
For a moment, he pauses, and counts on his fingers. So, he died a few days ago. That's one. Then he met angels and was told he was one too. That's two. Then there was not knowing how he died, and finding out how, and finding out that now, it seems like he can't die. That's three. Then there was the scary angel that was worse than yakuza, and then there was himself. How coule either of them be angels? That was Four. Maybe five? Yeah, they were different people, so that could count as two different matters. So, five. What else? What was there? Oh, yeah, why not the weird weapon he had found (six) or this white to a fucking creepy degree place (seven) and everything about this place in general? "That's eight."
Eight things, and it all happened in a matter of a few days.

Yousuke started walking, angry eyes searching. And where had the so called archangel gone, anyway? Wasn't he supposed to be around and keep an eye on him, so he didn't cause trouble or some fucking shit like that? Was that not important any more? Or was this place Heaven or some weird-ass shit like that? "In that case, I'd rather fucking just go to Hell, you damn shitheads."
For the time being, he's pretty convinced this is another of the angel's games. He seemed the type, considering what a scary asshole he was. "When I find that bastard, I'm gonna give him an earful and a lesson he'll never forget." If Yousuke had the guts to, because seriously, that white-haired angel dude scared the crap out of him. He didn't get why he was an angel, or how, or why he was as important as an archangel, for that matter. "Go rot and die." He should probably insult him all he can until he is found, because he won't get a word in on the bastard once they're together again. Or maybe he should shut up? What if he was watching!? Yousuke now started to look around with a worried caution. If Zara-san was watching, then he might be in a great deal of trouble. "Is that what this is! Is this some shitty kind of punishment!? You asshole!!" He doesn't pay attention, and walks straight into a poor unsuspecting victim.

Yousuke used to be a member of a yakuza gang, and as such was schooled into having a certain type of expression on his face. One to scare people, to put fear in them. Because after all, you can't have a yakuza hitman look nice, can you now? No, of course not, that would not be very threatening. So, to Yousuke, this scary smile has become second nature, and when he's told to "smile and look nice" he scares the crap out of people, and make them cry. He's trying to get better at it, but it's not easy. After all, old habits are hard to break, and he's the type of person for whom it takes time to learn new things. He can, for example, when trying to help a kid find the way home, look like he's out to kidnap them. But anyway, isn't using your pretty face to seduce people, like Zerachiel does, cheating?
But despite his scary face, he's really not a bad person. On the contrary, he's surprisingly caring and kind, and really wants to try to fix his face so he doesn't scare children. He's even nice to things like plants, even though a hitman isn't expected to be attached to a plant before their their death - or after it, for that matter. Though he decided to make his grave marker a potted plant outside and buried it in the ground, to mark his existence. He wanted some kind of good proof of that he once lived, since all other "proofs" were dead people. He also cares about his comrades, even if he wouldn't say it. But getting shot for someone else isn't anything he regrets (even if the person in question is really annoying about it) but he won't say it to anyone. Not that he'd give up his life for others. He might tell people he likes them after a considerable amount of time, but he personally finds that unlikely, and even unlikelier that someone will like him, considering he's a bad person who just hurts others. At least he thinks it's bat to take things from the dead, and wouldn't do that himself. Probably, unless he faces a situation where he absolutely has to. Not that he'll like it.
He's a bit to the violent side, which is a reason for him joining a gang in the first place. He has a temper, and gets a bit irritated when he's played off as stupid or unintelligent. Or if people talk over his head, and pretends like he's not around. He dislikes it when people insults him, and is just a little too quick to answer with shouted insults or a fist. He won't take out his gun unnecessarily, though (even if he had still had it) because he's not so easily pissed that he goes into murdering mode or anything. That only happens if someone is out to kill him or hurt him. Or, well, mostly only, really.
In general, Yousuke dislikes troublesome things, and things that are boring. He's a lazy person who doesn't really want to work, and who didn't put much effort in his studies. Because why should he? To get a respectable, low paying, boring, hard job that he didn't want in the first place? No thank you. He'd much rather be a respectable yakuza, even if yakuza are respected for completely different reasons than salary-men are. Not that he considers salary-men respectable. But then Yousuke is pretty much just an "unrefined delinquent" as Zerachiel puts it. He is too open with his desires (smoking, eating, drinking)and he complains too much. But he dislikes being told what he can and can't eat, okay? Threats works pretty decently on him, though, like how he might get thrown into Hell if he doesn't shape up.
But in the end, he doesn't care about if he becomes a fallen angel or not. He was more concerned with the plant he was caring for, and making sure it was alright, and that he had taken care of all his regrets in the living world, was much more important than some nice angel act. Besides, he doesn't think that the "halo and wings and being good crap" suits him the slightest. Who would choose to make a yakuza member an angel in the first place, is that "God" dude a moron?
